Conservation District Administrative Training

Using the administrative manual as a guide, this class will outline the role of Conservation Districts in the Dirt, Gravel, and Low Volume Road Maintenance Program.

Who Should Attend

  • CD staff involved with Program: required

  • Others involved in Program (Field Reps, etc.): encouraged

  • QAB or District Board members: also invited

  • Attendance by potential grant applicants (twps, etc.) is NOT encouraged.

Course Information

  • This one-day training will last approximately 5 hours.

  • Trainings will focus on details needed to run the Program at the CD: handling funds, administering projects, record keeping, understanding policies, Program forms, etc.

  • Trainings will be given by both Center and SCC staff.

  • All Conservation Districts administering the DGLVR Program are required to have someone attend an administrative training.

  • The course is free, but registration is required, no walk-ins will be allowed. You can register by clicking the registration link at the bottom of this page.
